Stern Grove Festival’s 77th Season started with a bang at The Big Picnic last Sunday, with a crowd of more than 12,000 people swaying to hits from Smokey Robinson and Patti Austin.
The Festival’s annual fundraiser, The Big Picnic, was attended by 515 guests and raised $595,000 in support of the Festival’s admission-free concerts and education programs.

Stern Grove Festival’s first Grove on the Road event was held on Sunday, May 4, at Sunday Streets/Bayview.
The day included performances from The Family Crest, The Frail Ophelias and Magik*Magik String Quartet, as well as workshops with Trash Mash-Up and an instrument petting zoo.
